Kia Picanto 1.0T GDi GT-line 5dr [4 seats] Review

The model
Read full reviewThe Kia Picanto is a very fine small car, with a smart interior, tidy handling and – if you pick our favourite 3 trim – a very easy to use and well-equipped infotainment system. The Hyundai i10 is a bit more polished in terms of ride and refinement, though, and a Dacia Sandero offers more space but costs even less.
The trim
See full equipmentGT-Line trim may appeal with its sporty styling, but you miss out on a fair bit of the 3’s kit including sat-nav, but you do get 16in alloy wheels and privacy glass.
The engine
See full engine specsThe best engine is the turbocharged 1.0 T-GDi with 99bhp. The problem is it's only available with the top trims, so it's expensive, and as a manual only. On the plus side, it's a lot more flexible at low revs and feels noticeably swifter when you work it (0-60mph takes 9.9sec).
