Kia has located the gearlever in the dash to increase leg space for the driver, although it gives a sloppy change. The main dials are easy to see, but many of the minor switches are scattered over the dash, with too much plastic used. The steering wheel and driver’s seat adjust for height, and there is good oddments storage.
Kia Sedona MPV space & practicality
All Sedonas have seven seats, and the split rear bench lifts out if necessary, although it’s heavy. Three children can fit in the back, but it’s too tight for a trio of adults. There is plenty of knee- and headroom available for all occupants. The two separate middle seats can be moved back and forth and the rear side doors slide to aid access in tight spots.
Kia Sedona MPV equipment
All models have air-con, front electric windows and a CD player as standard. LE and SE trims have alloy wheels, while all models have electric front windows and door mirrors. SE versions add electric rear quarterlight windows, an electric sunroof, rain-sensing windscreen wipers and leather upholstery. The SE+ trim includes side steps and reversing parking sensors.
