Review

Stick to the lower trims and the Sportage is good value for money, comes with a decent amount of rear space and a decent boot. However, we think other Family SUVs, such as the Skoda Karoq, are better options. The Sportage isn't that comfortable, has noisy engines that aren't especially fuel-efficient, and the higher-spec models are very pricey.

Trim: Platinum Edition

On top of the '2' trim this adds a heated steering wheel, a bigger 8.0in infotainment touchscreen, LED headlights, powered front seat adjustment and leather seats.

Engine: 1.6 GDi ISG

The entry-level petrol engine needs working hard and isn’t very efficient. There are better petrol options available from its rivals, such as the Skoda Karoq.
