Review
Stick to the lower trims and the Sportage is good value for money, comes with a decent amount of rear space and a decent boot. However, we think other Family SUVs, such as the Skoda Karoq, are better options. The Sportage isn't that comfortable, has noisy engines that aren't especially fuel-efficient, and the higher-spec models are very pricey.

On top of the Platimun Edition, you get 19in wheels (which hurt the ride quality), a punchier JBL stereo and a panoramic sunroof.
Engine: 1.6T GDi ISG
Adding a turbo to the 1.6-litre petrol gives you a lot more punch, the option of four-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox and doesn’t hurt claimed economy too much. It doesn’t feel as strong as similarly powerful engines in rivals, proves juicy and emits and awful lot of CO2, though.
