The model
Read full reviewSome rivals are faster and more fun to drive, but few are as comfortable or refined as the Range Rover Sport. We’d advise looking at a D300 or D350 diesel unless the P400e works for your lifestyle or bank balance. Stick to the lower trim levels, too, as costs soon shoot up.

See full equipmentThis high-end trim is offered only with the punchier engines; the D300, D350, P400 and P400e. It comes with a panoramic glass roof, three-zone climate control, cooled front seats, a heated steering wheel and adaptive cruise control. It also gets an upgraded sound system. A pricey but exceedingly well-equipped option.
The engine
See full engine specsWe’re yet to try this entry-level mild-hybrid assisted diesel, but the more powerful D350 version of this engine impressed.
