Review

If you're after maximum comfort from your luxury SUV, the luxurious Range Rover will prove a quiet and spacious way to transport up to five people and 'tonnes' of luggage. Performance is at the very least brisk although some may prefer the Audi Q7 or BMW X7 for their better body control, sharper handling and more refined engines.

Trim: Autobiography

Autobiography has a lavish specification that befits its high price, with a sliding panoramic roof, more powerful Pixel LED headlights, massaging front seats, a heated steering wheel and four-zone climate control. You also get a surround-view camera, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control with steering assist, illuminated kick plates on the door sills and, if you opt for the long-wheelbase version, a rear-seat entertainment system.

Engine: 5.0 P565 SVAutobiography LWB

This top-spec V8 comes only with SVAutobiography Dynamic and SVAutobiography Long Wheelbase and is certainly fast, but also eye-wateringly expensive both to buy and run.
