The Long Range version can still hit 60mph from a standstill in a staggering 4.8 seconds, so it’s way faster than a BMW iX3. Officially, it can do 315 miles on a charge, although 250 miles is more realistic on the road.

Long Range AWD

This range-topping Model can do 0-60mph in just 3.5 seconds, so it’s quicker even than a Porsche 911 Carrera. It can officially do 298 miles on a full battery charge, although 240 miles is more realistic on the road.

Performance AWD

Both versions of the Model Y come with plenty of luxuries, including climate control, adaptive cruise control, faux-leather seats (heated in the front and back), an electric tailgate and keyless entry via an app on your smartphone. There isn’t much on the options list. Indeed, apart from metallic paint and different alloy wheel designs, the only options are extra autonomous driving functions.

Since the standard, Long Range Model Y comes with plenty of luxuries, there’s no need to opt for the Performance – unless you want to go even faster.
