Review

Although the Mercedes CLS has four doors, you still trade practicality for style, but otherwise it offers great pace and tidy handling

While it may seem to have been created by a nonsense sentence generator, this is the name of the only trim level currently available on non-performance CLS’. Fortunately, it comes very well equipped with 20in alloys, LED headlights, a 360deg camera system, three-zone climate control, two 12.3in screens for both the infotainment system and digital driver display, wireless phone charging, and Burmester stereo and a head up display.

Pricey, but then it does offer a considerable amount of extra power and refinement over the lesser 300d.
