Review

It might not be cheap, but the Mercedes E-Class Estate is extremely classy, spacious and impressively refined. It's boot space is capacious, beating a BMW 5 Series Touring for capacity, although rear legroom suffers against rivals such as the Volvo V90. Its composure and typical high-end Mercedes finish complete these compelling package.

Trim: AMG Line

Adds bigger 19in alloy wheels, firmer sports suspension, more aggressive-looking bumpers, black ash interior trim, and lumbar support but swaps real-leather from the SE for man-made leather. \n\n,

Engine: E300de

If you’re tempted by the fuel economy offered by the diesel hybrid E300de - beware that the extra weight of the battery hasn’t helped its handling, and although it’s quick the diesel still sounds gruff
