The model
Read full reviewThe EQA’s biggest strength is undoubtedly its interior. Along with the bigger EQC, there are few electric cars that come close to offering a similar blend of visual pizzazz, first-rate technology and impressive build quality, regardless of your budget. However the EQA is let down by its poor ride and lofty pricing. Cheaper EVs like the Kia e-Niro are more compelling all-rounders.
get the best priceThe trim
See full equipmentIt’s not a big jump in price to AMG Line from Sport trim, but the only real benefit of doing so is some slightly sportier styling inside and out.
The engine
See full engine specsThis is the only battery and electric motor combination currently available in the EQA. The 250 model gets a 66.5kWh battery and a 188bhp electric motor. 0-62mph takes 8.9sec, so there are plenty of quicker electric cars, but the official WLTP range of 263 miles is pretty decent.
