If you’re after a big range and enough room for a family from your electric car at a low price, the MG 5 is a temptingly well equipped option. It’s pretty comfy and has punchy acceleration – although it does feel a little unruly at times. The lack of safety kit disappoints, though, and the MG ZS EV is even more spacious for the money. If you can live with a smaller car, the Peugeot e-208 or Renault Zoe are better options.get the best price
