The main thing you’re paying for here is the plug-in hybrid system complete with an automatic gearbox. You also get yellow accents inside and out, a bigger 8.8in infotainment system and switchable driving modes.
As well as a 1.5-litre petrol engine, you get an electric motor and battery pack. This means off-the-line performance offered from the electric motor is very brisk but it does tail off around 50mph, and the added weight doesn’t do much for its handling. The car can run in electric-only mode for a claimed 26 miles, but expect this to be much less in real-world driving conditions. This version makes most sense for business users and those doing short distances.
