Review
The Mini 3dr is a hugely desirable small car that has plenty of substance to match its style; if you want a premium small car, it should be on your shortlist

This is the cheapest way into Mini ownership but still brings a fair amount of kit. There are LED front and rear lights, auto lights and wipers, a 6.5in infotainment controlled by a rotary dial, Bluetooth, a DAB radio and a multi-function steering wheel. You’ll have to jump into the options list to get alloy wheels, though.
Engine: 1.5
The entry-level Mini gets a new 100bhp, 1.5-litre, three-cylinder engine available with a six-speed manual gearbox or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. It feels adequate around town but a little breathless on the open road. We’d pay the extra and go for the Cooper.
