Full details of the new Peugeot Partner Tepee have been released and the MPV is available to order now, featuring a revised light and grille design and a cleaner, mor efficient engine line-up.
What is it?
The new version of Peugeot’s MPV. It features a refreshed design, Euro 6-compliant engines and spec upgrades as well as lower CO2 emissions and improved fuel economy across the range.
What engines can I choose from?
All engines are Euro 6 compliant, and CO2 emission figures are, on average, 15% lower than those of the units they replacee. One 97bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine is available. It is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox and emits 148g/km of CO2.
There are three variants of Peugeot’s 1.6-litre BlueHDi diesel engine available. The lowest-powered 74bhp unit comes with a five-speed manual and emits 113g/km of CO2, while the higher-powered 118bhp version emits 115g/km of CO2 and comes with a six-speed manual.
There's also 99bhp engine comes with either a five-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed electronic transmission. Both emit just 109g/km and are the cleanest choices in the range.
How much equipment does it come with?
Two trims are available – Allure and Active.
A 7.0in touchscreen is standard with Allure trim and available as an option with Active, and it comes with DAB radio, hard-drive music storage and Bluetooth. Sat-nav is available as an optional extra.
A reversing camera and an autonomous safety braking system – ‘Active City Brake’ – can be added to Allure models.
Five seats come as standard, but seven seats are an option only available on Active. The three seats in row two are removable in Allure trim as standard but only as an option with Active.
How much does it cost?
Prices for Active models start at £14,785, while Allure trim costs £18,595.
Can I get a discount?
The MPV has only just gone on sale but there are some great discounts available through online brokers already.
What are its rivals like?
Competition in the MPV class is tough. The Partner Tepee will be up against the likes of the excellent Seat Alhambra and the Citroën C4 Picasso.
