2015 Subaru Levorg priced at 27,495
Subaru’s new estate will come in just the high-level trim and it goes on sale from September...
Pricing for the Subaru Levorg has been announced, with the estate set to cost from £27,495 when it goes on sale in September.
What is it?
The Levorg was first revealed at the 2015 Geneva motor show and is billed by Subaru as an effective successor to the Legacy Tourer, which was last sold in 2008. It is an all-wheel-drive estate that comes with one engine and trim offering in the UK.
It is only offered as an estate in the UK, and offers 522 litres of boot space with the seats in place, which increases to 1446 litres with them folded.
What engine does it come with?
The single engine available is a 168bhp 1.6-litre diesel, which is paired with Subaru’s Lineartronic CVT automatic gearbox.
Despite its small size, Subaru claims the new engine offers the same performance as its old 2.5-litre boxer diesel. It has a claimed 0-62mph time of 8.9sec. It also promises combined fuel economy of 39.7mpg and CO2 emissions of 164g/km.
How much equipment does it come with?
There is only one trim on offer in the UK, called GT. It gets kit such as automatic lights and wipers, 18in alloy wheels, keyless entry and start, a 7.0in touchscreen satellite navigation system, dual-zone air conditioning and a reversing camera. The interior comes with blue stitched leather trim while it also gets metallic paint included as standard.
All Levorgs sold in the UK will come with a selection of safety equipment that includes a new ‘Subaru Rear Vehicle Detection’ (SRVD) system that detects when a car is driving past when reversing out of a parking space. It also gets a blind spot warning system and lane change assist.
All-wheel drive is standard, as is an active torque vectoring system that brakes the inside wheel through corners to reduce understeer and oversteer.
How much does it cost?
The only model costs £27,495.
Can I get a discount?
The closest model to the Levorg in the Subaru range is the more off-road focused Outback, which has discounts ranging between around £1600 and £1800 available according to our Target Price team. We'd expect a similar level of saving to be possible on the Levorg as time progresses.
