Join What Car? for an exclusive preview of the new Vauxhall Astra on the afternoon of Tuesday 18 August in south-west London.

You’ll get a close-up look at the car, and hear from Vauxhall’s team before being interviewed for the magazine and online video.

The new Astra is the seventh generation of the hatchback and is an all-new car, coming with a mix of new and familiar engines.

Prices start at £15,295 for the entry-level model, and the car will be the first in Vauxhall’s line-up to get the OnStar 24hr emergency assistance system as standard.

The Astra is a well-established hatchback, but this seventh-generation model comes into a market that is stronger than ever. Its rivals should be worried, though, as our test drive of a prototype earlier this year showed it has all the credentials of a great family car.

How does the new Astra compare to the likes of the Ford Focus, Skoda Octavia and Volkswagen Golf? Will it emerge as the class leader?

We want your opinions, so join us at this exclusive preview where you’ll get a hands-on look at Vauxhall’s new Astra. Your comments will appear in What Car? magazine and online at whatcar.com.
