We are offering What Car? readers the opportunity to attend an exclusive preview of the new Mazda MX-5 RF on Wednesday, 30 November, in Dartford, Kent.
The RF is the new hard-top version of the Mazda MX-5 two-seat convertible sports car, which was launched last year as a soft-top only. However, 80% of sales of previous MX-5s in the UK were the hard-roofed model, so this is an important car. RF stands for Retractable Hardtop, which refers to the model's electrically retracitng roof – on the regular car, you have to do this manually.
The RF will have the same 1.5 and 2.0-litre petrol engines as the soft-top MX-5, but unlike that car, it will be available with an automatic gearbox as well as a manual.
It will cost from £22,195 – £3700 more than the regular MX-5 – when it arrives in showrooms in March 2017.
Join What Car? to get a detailed look in and around this new car and chat with product experts from Mazda, before being interviewed for our website.
