2017 Peugeot 3008 verdict and specs
Should I buy one?
At the moment we know only that the 3008 range will start from £21,795 for the entry-level petrol, but expect this 1.6 BlueHDi 120 Allure to cost around £25,500. That makes it pricier than equivalent versions of the Qashqai and Ateca, although we understand it will be better equipped. It shouldn’t cost any more to run, though; the CO2 emissions of 104g/km and claimed average fuel consumption of 70.6mpg are not far off that of the super efficient Qashqai.
So, subject to price considerations and the ride being as good on UK roads as it was in Italy, if you can hang on until next January when UK deliveries begin, the new Peugeot 3008 could be well worth the wait.
