Hyundai is on the verge of releasing the fourth-generation version of its Santa Fe seven-seat SUV. And you can be among the first people in the country to see it.

The car gets a bold new look, a roomier interior and a host of technology. In addition, its interior appears plusher, thanks to the use of higher-quality materials, and gains a new infotainment system with a 7.0in or an 8.0in touchscreen. This includes a DAB radio, sat-nav and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring.

All models come with a 197bhp 2.2-litre diesel engine and either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic gearbox. There's also front or four-wheel drive to choose from.

The third-row seats in the new Santa Fe promise to be among the most spacious in the large SUV class, which also contains the Peugeot 5008 and Skoda Kodiaq. The other seats are pretty roomy, too, with more space than before, while the boot is of a good capacity.

The fourth-gen Santa Fe will arrive in showrooms at the end of September and be priced from £33,425.
