A luxurious SUV that drives like a supercar yet is also great off-road might seem like an amalgamation of contradictory ideas.

But the Urus manages to do this better than you could realistically expect. It’s a car that has had hardware and technology applied to it until it bullies what you knew about cars into doing its will. It's fun to drive, it’s ridiculously fast, it stops well and it's very amusing off road.

No surprise, then, that as a result it ends up being really expensive, weighing 2.2 tonnes and having the compromise of an overly firm ride on poor roads. But no other car quite manages to do what it does, physically, especially while exuding such a luxurious feel. So, if you want what the Urus can do, only an Urus will do.
