2018 Volvo V60 exclusive Reader Test Team preview
Join What Car? for an exclusive preview of the new Volvo V60 on Friday 4 May in Maidenhead, Berkshire...
And while the new Volvo V60, which is due to go on sale in September, is practical and (incredibly) safe, Volvo's designers seem to have put down their set squares.
The new V60 is based on the same platform as the larger V90, and its maker is promising it will set 'new standards' of luxury, space, safety and connectivity.
Inside, the V60 adopts the same look as the V90, by having a digital instrument cluster and Volvo's Sensus infotainment screen. And it's equipped with all the latest active safety systems as standard.
And, most importantly, the boot is 529 litres – bigger than those of all the V60's contemporaries.
To begin with, the V60 will be sold only as a plug-in hybrid, but petrol and diesel engines will soon be added to the range.
If you're interested, come along and tell us what you think. At the event, you'll get a close-up look of the new V60 and a Q&A opportunity with the Volvo team, before being interviewed for our magazine and website.
