2021 Volkswagen Tiguan eHybrid verdict and specs
The Volkswagen Tiguan eHybrid brings plug-in power to a revised range. Is this now the family SUV to beat?...

We’re still waiting to hear how Volkswagen will price the Tiguan eHybrid, but we suspect it will sit closer to the BMW X1 xDrive25e and Volvo XC40 Recharge than the Kia Niro PHEV.
More positively, the 31-mile electric-only range suggests that fuel economy and CO2 figures will be competitive (these are also still to be confirmed). And when you add in the comfort, space and quality-feel that the Tiguan eHybrid offers, it's not just a tempting option for those looking to go green, but an impressive SUV full stop.
