The cars in contention to take home the overall What Car? Car of the Year Award for 2022 have been revealed.
The winner will be announced on Thursday 20 January at the annual What Car? Car of the Year Awards, held in association with MotorEasy.
To be eligible for a What Car? Award, a car has to have been tested back-to-back with its rivals, both on UK roads and at What Car?’s dedicated test track.
The What Car? Car of the Year Awards have been held every year since 1978. The event was purely virtual in 2021 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, for 2022 it will return to the Grosvenor House, Park Lane.
To qualify for the overall Car of the Year Award, contenders have to have been launched in the previous 12 months.
