Citroen's next hot hatch, the DS3 Racing, will cost from 23,100 when it goes on sale next year.
The hot hatch is based on the DS3 DSport THP 150 but has been modified by Citroen Racing, the team behind Citroen's World Rally Championship team.
The car has a 204bhp 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine that powers it from 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 146mph.
Citroen Racing has also changed the suspension, lowered the car's ride height, widened the track and upgraded the brakes, which, says Citroen, help improves the car's handling and allows for swifter cornering.
The DS3 is not just about power and performance, however. The car comes with climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, rear parking sensors and a new ESP programme called Switchable ESP). It also has a carbonfibre rear diffuser, front bumper and wheelarch extensions. The carbon fibre theme continues in the interior, with carbonfibre centre console, steering wheel and door inserts.
Just 200 versions will be on sale in the UK, and order books open for the car on September 1. First deliveries are expected early next year. At 23,100 it costs roughly the same as our current favourite hot hatch, the Renault Megane Renaultsport 250 Cup.
