Audi Q7 and Lexus RX450h by the sea

Our verdict

The formidable Audi Q7 wraps up a relatively easy win here. It’s more comfortable and refined than any rival at this price point by some margin, and it’s classier-feeling inside than the RX and considerably more practical.

In fact, the only reason not to buy this particular version of the Q7 is that the more powerful (272) model brings even stronger performance for not a lot more money.
