British Arash AF-10 supercar unveiled

The Arash AF-10 might look just like a Ferrari Enzo, but this supercar isn't from Maranello in Italy, but from the suburbs of Cambridge.

325,000 British supercar
The British-built 200mph performance car will cost more than 325,000 and it's ready to go into production.

The car will have a 7.0-litre V8 engine from the Corvette Z06, tuned to produce 550bhp, and a six-speed manual gearbox.

Built mostly from carbonfibre, the Arash AF-10 will be extremely light at 1200kg. Being made from carbonfibre also helps explain its terrifying pricetag.

It's also almost entirely purpose-built, with only 3% of the parts borrowed from other cars. It has 19-inch front wheels, while 20-inch wheels grace the rear of the car.

Loris Biocchi will be helping with the AF-10's development. He has worked for Bugatti and Koenigsegg, so knows a thing or two about building supercars.

The man behind the Arash AF-10 is Arash Faroud, who has previously built the Farboud GTS (later Farbio) supercar.

Only a few AF-10s will be built each year, with a total of 70 expected to be produced in the next five years.
