These days, being thrifty is fashionable, so it makes sense that one of the cheapest convertibles on PCP finance is also one that’s dripping in style. Indeed, rock-solid resale values mean the Fiat 500 Convertible is tempting whether you pay for it in monthly instalments or outright.

There’s a lot more to the 500 than just keen pricing and Instagrammable looks, though. It’s better to drive than rivals such as the Mini Convertible and Volkswagen T-Roc Cabrio, and although the rear seats are more cramped than those of the BMW 4 Series Convertible, that car will cost you far more to buy.

Punchy acceleration from the 117bhp electric motor allows you to keep pace with the cut and thrust of urban traffic easily, while an official range of up to 189 miles means you won’t need to plug it in every day if you’re mainly doing short trips.
