The BMW 3 Series saloon is a perennial feature in the What Car? Car of the Year Awards it has won the Executive category every year since 2005.
However, to put the popular saloon to test in real-world conditions, we've spent the past 12 months living with one a 320d SE to be precise.
The car has been in the hands of What Car? editor-in-chief Chas Hallett, and he's about to bid farewell to the car that has covered more than 23,000 miles in its time with us.
