Despite its size, the Ford is amazing fun to drive. The 182bhp 2.0-litre diesel offers great performance and sounds great.
Its fuel economy figures are impressive as well; a claimed 67.3mpg and CO2 emissions of 110g/km mean it won't cost the earth to run. With this discount, it's also very competitively priced against its rivals.
The engine is powerful, but the turbo lag means that a big chunk of pulling power is delivered in one big surge when the turbo kicks in, and it can sometimes struggle for traction out of corners. The ride is pretty firm, too, and while it’s a practical car the boot is smaller than other rival hot estates.
Should I add any options?
Options that could be of use include a rear view camera for £165, cruise control for £250, while other luxuries like a heated steering wheel for £90 and keyless entry and start with electrically folding door mirrors is available for £350.
Anything else I should know?
The discounted price includes a £1380 discount that is conditional upon taking out a finance deal. If buying in cash, add £1380 to the quoted price.
