The Kuga is a popular mid-size SUV, which is now available with discounts of more than £4200.
There’s lots of options to choose from in the Kuga range. You can choose between diesel and petrol engines, manual and automatic gearboxes, as well as two or four-wheel drive. Whichever model you go for, the Kuga comes with five seats.
Space in the front seats is one of the Kuga’s strongest suits. There’s more seat adjustment and head room than in rivals such as the Mazda CX-5 and Hyundai Santa Fe. Rear space isn’t bad either; two adults will find the rear seats comfortable even on longer journeys.
This 2.0-litre diesel model emits 135g/km of CO2 and returns an official fuel economy of 54.3mpg.
As is common for the Ford range, the Kuga is one of the better-handling cars in its class.
Also, speed bumps and road imperfections are damped well, giving the Kuga a generally relaxing ride with confidence-inspiring steering.
The Kuga’s 406-litre boot capacity is small for a car of this size and falls short of many of its rivals, however, it is a good rectangular shape.
The Sony infotainment system on this Titanium Sport model is controlled using fiddly small buttons that take some getting used to.
Should I add any options?
Titanium Sport comes with a lot of kit including air conditioning, cruise control, digital radio, Bluetooth, USB ports, alloy wheels and a heated windscreen. Therefore, you probably won’t need to add any options.
If you’ll be using your Kuga for caravanning or hauling a trailer, you can specify a detachable tow bar for £625.
