We've been running a Hyundai i20 to find out how it gets on in the ultra-competitive small car class. We've also found a great saving on the model we're running. Read below for details of that deal and click here for our full review.
The car Hyundai i20 1.4 SE 5dr
The saving £2596
The discounted price £11,029
The broker Drivethedeal.com
The Hyundai i20 offers a spacious interior, plenty of standard equipment and is well-priced even before the discount we've found. The 1.4-litre petrol engine is smooth, quiet and reasonably efficient, achieving around 44.6mpg in the real-world.
Hyundai also beats rivals such as the Ford Fiesta and Vauxhall Corsa by coming with a five-year warranty.
The ride is a bit firm and, even around town, performance is not as impressive as its rivals. Some of the cabin plastics feel low-rent, especially when compared with the Volkswagen Polo.
Should I add any options?
We'd consider adding the £375 Driver Assist Pack that comes with halogen headlights and the useful smartphone docking station.
