The Kia Soul is a great-value compact crossover which came out on top in our recent group test – click here for our test in full. We’ve also got a Soul on our long-term test fleet, and you can read how we’ve been getting on with the small SUV here.
Even at full asking price the Soul is great value, but we’ve found a deal online that brings its price down by £3700. Here’s everything you need to know.
The car Kia Soul 1.6 CRDi 126 Connect Plus
The saving £3719
The discounted price £13,923
The broker Drivethedeal.com
The Soul has a lot going for it, not least its spacious and classy cabin that can accommodate five adults on longer journeys. The brilliant interior also includes a big 8.0in touchscreen that’s responsive and intuitive. Better still, it comes with loads of features including sat-nav and DAB radio.
Powered by a 1.6-litre diesel engine, the Soul feels nippy around town and sufficiently hushed at motorway speeds to make it a good cruiser.
The engine is well-powered, but its fuel economy is disappointing. High CO2 emissions of 132g/km and a real-world fuel economy of 46mpg mean that it won’t be as cheap to run as some of its rivals.
Should I add any options?
Connect Plus trim brings everything you need. The only available options are metallic paint finishes, with four choices costing £490 each.
Anything else I should know?
This discount includes a £1000 saving which is conditional upon you taking out a PCP finance deal arranged by the dealer at 4.9% APR representative over 36 months with no minimum deposit.
