We're very impressed with the latest Volkswagen Passat Estate. Now in its eighth generation, it's more spacious than ever and is going after more premium rivals from Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
The Passat Estate has only just gone on sale, but we've already found one broker offering £3000 off the 2.0 TDI SE model. Here are the details.
The car Volkswagen Passat Estate 2.0 TDI SE
The saving £3221
The discounted price £22,744

The Passat Estate is more spacious than ever. It has a 650-litre boot and there's plenty of room in the rear seats for three adults. Those in the front are well catered for as well.
Motorway miles are taken in its stride and overall the Passat Estate is great to drive.
The interior has been given a push upmarket with premium materials and a wide variety of technology including an intuitive infotainment system.
To be honest, there aren't many negatives to speak off. The Passat Estate is great to drive but isn't fun.
A big consideration is do you need the extra space the Passat Estate offers? If not, you could save yourself some cash and go for the equally great Volkswagen Golf Estate.
Should I add any options?
SE trim cars get air-conditioning, upgraded front seats, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, and automatic lights and wipers. You might want to consider adding sat-nav for £675.
