Deal of the Day: Lease a Fiat Grande Panda from £215 per month
The Fiat Grande Panda is a funky-looking and spacious small SUV, and you could lease one for a keen price with our deals...

There are plenty of small SUVs to choose from nowadays, but not many pack quite as much personality as the Fiat Grande Panda. This car may be compact, but it dons chunky styling and retro design touches to help it stand out against the rest of its competitors.
Indeed, the Grande Panda is a tempting offering, not just because of its bright and colourful styling, but also because it’s user-friendly, practical and very well priced – even more so when you take into account the fact that you could put a new one on your driveway for as little as £215 per month.
To do that, you’ll need to opt for a 24-month contract with an annual mileage limit of 5000 miles, and an initial payment of £2575.44. The annual 5000 mile restriction isn’t a huge allowance, so you’ll have to be careful to avoid excess mileage charges.
If you regularly cover more miles, you could opt for a more common 36-month, 10,000-mile agreement with six months initial rental (£1655.94), which will cost £275.99 per month.

There are two versions of the Grande Panda available: the Hybrid, which is powered by a petrol mild hybrid set-up, or the aptly-named Grande Panda Electric, which has a fully-electric set-up. Our Deal of the Day comes equipped with the mild hybrid set-up, featuring a 1.2-litre petrol engine and tiny electric motor.
With 109bhp, the Grande Panda Hybrid can sprint from 0-62mph in 10sec, which might sound modest, but it’s quicker than entry-level versions of the rival Dacia Duster and Seat Arona – and even its all-electric sibling. As standard, it comes matched to a six-speed automatic gearbox, which can be a bit hesitant when you need a sudden burst of speed, but in most instances, it’s smooth and responsive enough.

Despite being closely related to the comfortable Citroën C3, the Grande Panda is geared more towards agility. That means you get sharper handling, but a slightly firmer ride. Still, it’s reasonably comfortable. However, if you want something especially agile, it’s worth considering the Seat Arona.
Inside, there’s plenty of adjustment in the driver’s seat and steering wheel, so you shouldn’t have any issues getting comfy. SUV fans will appreciate the Grande Panda’s lofty driving position, which gives you a great view of the road ahead.
Elsewhere, the interior is decorated with retro design touches and colourful materials which make it feel bright and airy inside. The rival Duster and Arona feel dark and dingy by comparison. There’s a 10in digital driver’s display alongside a 10.3in infotainment touchscreen, which comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone mirroring as standard.
Even the tallest of drivers and passengers won’t feel short of space in the front of the Fiat Grande Panda Hybrid. Six-footers should be fairly comfortable in the back too, as long as the driver in front isn’t too tall. And, with 412 litres of boot space, the Grand Panda is more practical than a Kia Stonic or Seat Arona.
Our Deal of the Day comes in top-spec La Prima trim, which comes equipped with a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, a wireless phone-charger, automatic LED lights and wipers, and sat-nav, as well as 17in alloys and cruise control.
