Choosing a new car isn't so straightforward when you have a four-legged passenger to think about.
That's why we've set out to name the best cars for dogs. As well as a car that's well priced and good to drive, we're looking for a roomy and easily accessible boot, and perhaps a few available options such as harnesses, cages or even ramps to help aid our special occupants. We've prepared six cars that we think are the best candidates, including SUVs, estates and MPVs, spanning multiple price points.
But in the abscence of a What Car? office dog, we need your help to test them out. This video shoot will take place on Monday 21 May in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, and we'd like you to come along with your pet (or pets) and give your opinions on the cars we've selected, with the hope of finding an overall winner.
If you're interested in taking part, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, age, location and, of course, your dog's details along with a photo.
