Electric taxi
The UK's first electric taxi gets its debut in the Greener Driving Pavilion at the British Motor Show.
Powered by lithium-ion batteries, the E7 taxi has a range of around 100 miles on a single charge and has a top speed of 60mph.
It can carry up to six passengers and also provides full wheelchair access.
The taxi costs from 39,450 and its makers, Allied Vehicles, expects running costs to be around 500 a month plus VAT.
