The Nissan Hi-Cross has been unveiled at the 2012 Geneva motor show.
The Hi-Cross is designed to capitalise on success enjoyed by the Qashqai and Juke. The new generation crossover is a high riding 4x4, boasting 3 rows of seats and capable of carrying 7 passengers.
The Hi-Cross is powered by a hybrid drivetrain, incorporating a 2.0 litre supercharged direct injection petrol engine with battery technologyfrom the Nissan Leaf. This, combined with dual clutch Xtronic CVT technology, produces much better economy, according to Nissan.
The Hi-Cross could be an insight into how the next X-Trail could look. A new X-Trail is expected next year.
