How to spec a Jaguar I-Pace
Our guide to Jaguar's electric SUV covers which version to buy, which options to choose and how much to pay for it all...
Powered Gesture Tailgate (£500)
If you’ve ever struggled with bags of shopping or suitcases to fish your car’s key out of your pocket to open the boot, you’ll appreciate Jaguar’s gesture-controlled tailgate (£500). Instead of dropping your bags, just wave your foot under the I-Pace’s rear bumper and the boot will magically open for you.
Alloy wheels (up to £4800)
You can spend a lot on larger alloy wheels for the I-Pace, replacing the standard car’s 18in rims with huge alternatives (up to 22in) in a variety of different styles. Trouble is, these are expensive – costing up to £4800 – and cause you to feel more lumps and bumps than you would with the smaller wheels.
