Should I buy one?
The 2 remains a decent small car, but we'd steer clear of this range-topping GT model. It might add model-unique 16in alloy wheels, a roof spoiler, LED headlights and leather seats over Sport Nav models but, at £16,396, it doesn't do enough to justify its inflated price tag.
The larger wheels do nothing for the 2's ride, either, so one of the smaller-wheeled, more comfortable models makes much more sense. Indeed, an SE-L model on 15in wheels would be our pick, and it still gets Mazda's brilliant infotainment and impressive build quality.
Overall, though, this year's changes haven't elevated the 2 to the status of class-leader. The Fabia still wears that crown, offering a more comfortable ride, better handling and more space for less money.
