The Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG is on sale now, with prices starting at 82,995.
The ML63 AMG is the high-performance, range-topping version of the 2012 M-Class range.
Power comes from a 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that develops 518bhp and 516lb ft of torque. An optional AMG Performance Package is available for 6165, which boosts power to 549bhp and torque to 561lb ft. Its the first time a performance package has been available for the ML.
The ML63 AMGs suspension and brakes have been uprated to match the increased power output, while standard equipment includes self-levelling air suspension and 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels.
The new ML 63 AMG is nearly 40% more economical than the previous model and emits almost 30% less CO2. These gains are thanks partly to a new seven-speed automatic transmission system and an engine stop/start function.
An optional Drivers Package is available at 2820, which removes the 155mph top speed limiter and raises the top speed to 176mph. Buyers who opt for the package will also be invited to a Mercedes driver event.
