Luxury SUVs don't come much better than the regular Range Rover, but the Sport is arguably more fun to drive, as well as cheaper. It's very refined and comfortable for long trips. Just be aware of the high asking price.
Suzuki's Celerio city car is well equipped and spacious. It's also very economical, with the non-Dualjet 1.0-litre engine returning an impressive 57.8mpg in our True MPG real-world fuel economy tests – bettering the Skoda Citigo.
The Sandero is the UK's cheapest new car but, despite the bargain price, it is still a surprisingly spacious and economical hatchback. We'd advise going for an Ambiance model at least, though, because the headline-grabbing Access version really is a bit spartan inside.
