Range Rover Evoque buyers face a six-month wait for their new car, Land Rover has confirmed.
Customers who've already placed an order for the Evoque may also have their delivery dates pushed back, after Land Rover revealed supply problems have affected some of the car's components.
Land Rover has denied that supplies of panoramic sunroofs have caused the delivery delays, despite this being raised as an issue by customers on Land Rover internet forums.
The panoramic sunroofs have been a popular option, but we don't have problems with their supply, said a Land Rover spokesman.
Land Rover said it doesn't want to speed up Evoque production to meet delivery dates if that compromises build quality.
The issue of supplies of some components has been resolved, but we won't compromise on quality to fulfil orders for their initial delivery dates,' said the spokesman.
