The Citroen DS3 Cabrio aims to build on the success enjoyed by the hatchback version of the stylish supermini.

The Cabrio retains the same basic structure and looks as the DS3 hatchback, but with a folding fabric roof that exposes the whole of the cabin.

There's no shortage of personalisation options, with a choice of seven colours, three roof patterns and nine wheel designs.

It costs 2195 more than the hatchback, and three engine and trim combinations are available. The entry-level 1.2 VTi 82 petrol in DSign trim costs from 15,045, while the top-of-the-range 1.6 THP 155 DSport costs 19,675.

Is a folding roof enough to tempt buyers to part with the extra cash? We asked a selection of What Car? readers for their view.
