The new Renault Clio RS 200 will cost from 18,995 when it goes on sale in June.
A Lux version will be available for 19,995.
Both cars are powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine mated to a six-speed dual-clutch semi-automatic gearbox with steering wheel-mounted paddles.
The Clio RS accelerates from 0-60mph in 6.7 seconds, has average economy of 44.8mpg and CO2 emissions of 144g/km.
The standard car comes with three driving modes: Normal, Sport and Race. In Race mode gearchanges take less than 150 milliseconds, while a launch control function is also used.
A Cup chassis which is15% stiffer and 3mm lower than the standard set-up is available as a 450 option.
Standard equipment includes a Renaultsport 'Sound Pipe' that feeds engine noise into the cabin air-conditioning, Bluetooth, electric door mirrors, keyless start and a touch-screen infotainment system.
The Lux version gets climate control, upgraded speakers, an R-link sat-nav system, electric rear windows and automatic lights and wipers.
Options include heated front seats, metallic paint, leather upholstery, rear parking sensors, rear parking camera, special paint and a Renaultsport telemetry system to record lap times.
Inside, the Clio RS gets Renaultsport touches to the steering wheel, gearlever, air vent surrounds and the seatbelts.
Orders books open April 8 with deliveries from June. The Clio RS 200 costs 18,995, with the Clio RS 200 Lux at 19,995.
