What Car? is inviting readers to a once-in-a-lifetime preview of the new Astra at Vauxhall's Heritage Centre in Bedfordshire.
The Astra goes on sale in December, costs from 15,675, and is gunning hard for the Ford Focus and the rest of the small family car class.
As well as decent dynamics and a wide range of engines, Vauxhall has given the Astra a striking interior, but not, it says, at the expense of practicality.
Give us your verdict on the new Astra
Come along to our Reader Test Team event to decide for yourself whether you'd be at home in the car and whether you'd like to see it on your driveway.
We're limited to six places at the event, which takes place at the Luton Heritage centre on Friday, October 16 between 4pm and 6pm, so get in touch as soon as you can to guarantee your place at our private preview.
