Three new Hyundais due at Geneva show

Hyundai will show off three of its latest models at the Geneva motor show in March.

First off will be the hotly anticipated i40, which will replace the dowdy Sonata saloon. Hyundais new model has been designed with the European market in mind, and should be a strong rival for the Ford Mondeo due to its large size and expected low prices. The i40 will go on sale this June, with an estate version expected later.

The Veloster coupe will also feature at the show. This will be the cars first showing in Europe after its worldwide debut at the Detroit motor show in January, where it raised a few eyebrows when it was revealed it had one door on the drivers side, but two on the other. The Veloster is also due to go on sale later this year.

Hyundais concept car for Geneva will be the Curb. The car is said to be a test-bed for the companys Blue Link telematics technology, and will show the next generation of Hyundais fluidic sculpture styling.

Other items that Hyundai will showcase include its latest developments from its green Blue Drive technology, which aims to cut its emission in Europe.
