Should my next car be electric? It's a question more UK car buyers are asking themselves as electric vehicles (EVs) become increasingly popular choices.

Once reserved for early adopters, electric cars offer tax incentives, fuel savings and even a substantial grant from the government. We asked a group of What Car? readers along to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) headquarters in central London to see what they thought of some of the latest and best-selling EVs, including the Renault Twizy, Renault Zoe, Nissan Leaf and BMW i3.

The SMMT runs the Go Ultra Low campaign, which encourages more people to switch to electric cars.

Our invited group of readers came from all backgrounds and jobs and all of them were looking to see if an electric car might fit into their lifestyle. So how did they get on? Watch the video below to find out, and remember you can read all of our electric car reviews by clicking here.
