I feel like a bit of a motoring cliché at the moment, because having just become a parent, I now find myself running my first Volvo. And yet I’ve got to admit that safety is suddenly a higher priority for me, and cars don’t come any safer than the S90 saloon; it earned the highest score awarded by the crash-test experts at Euro NCAP to date.
The other thing Volvo is famous for that’s present and correct is fantastically supportive seats.
But the main reason for this long-term test is to see if the S90 also excels in areas outside of Volvo’s comfort zone, and I’ll be reporting on that, starting from next week’s full introduction.
