What Car? is searching for Britains best car buyer. If you believe you deserve the title, then send us the details of the your most recent deal.

We want to know the make and model you bought and how much you paid. If there was a part-exchange involved well need to know about that, too, along with any special offers such as interest-free finance or cashback.

Its not just about the numbers, though.

Tell us how you struck such a good deal. What tactics did you use? Did you play one dealer off against another? How did you haggle so effectively? What advice would you give to other What Car? readers looking to emulate your success?

The best deals and tips will be featured in What Car? magazine, with the overall winner receiving the Garmin sat-nav.

To be qualify, deals must have been struck in 2008 or 2009. Anyone shortlisted for the prize will be asked to provide written proof that the deal was genuine.

Any new car deal is eligible, whether arranged through a franchised dealer, a broker or a car supermarket.
