Review

The Juke is strong in some key areas, such as interior quality, safety and equipment levels, but there are more rounded choices in the small SUV class. The Skoda Kamiq is one, and noticeably better if you’re looking for space or comfort, while the excellent Ford Puma should be cheaper to run and far more exciting to drive.

Trim: Visia

This basic trim comes with steel wheels and wheel trims, a basic monotone infotainment system (non-touchscreen), but you do get LED headlights, cruise control, a DAB radio, Bluetooth, a USB port, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition. Worth upgrading to Acenta if you can, though.

Engine: 1.0 DiG-T

A 115bhp 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol is the only engine available at the moment. It’s gutsy enough if you keep the revs above 2000rpm, and if you work it really hard it can take the Juke from 0-62mph in 10.4sec.
